March 1, 2013 - Global Perspectives for March 2013
Since the last update in February, the global markets have "paused" and drifted lower. This coincides with the display in all three graphs but, I especially want to point out the slight drift down in the "Global 2013 Core & Transient Delta graph" which occurred between the middle of February and the beginning of March - very similar to what has happened in the markets.
If the graphs are accurate in being "forward indicators", then there is likely to be a severe down shift into risk during the month of March in the global markets. While the move is relatively quick to downside and then back up, it is a "core" move indicating that a shift has occurred. During this period, the short-term indicators (transient) are in yield and will likely lesson the reactions.
