February 10, 2013 - Global Perspectives for February 2013
The month of February is likely to continue much of the same trends evident from mid-January but, this is likely to came to a halt sometime between the end of February and the beginning of April. The down dip in April that is in the graphs (shown below) is also in the USA economy graphs but, in that case - it is short-lived. In the case of the global environment, this is a longer term trend and not as quickly dissipated. This could be the result of previous issues arising again (like Greece, Iran, Arab spring), or maybe new issues (like North Korea, Venezuela), or an escalation of existing issues (Japan & China). While not as likely but still possible, it could be that USA financial issues result in confusion and fear in the global environment.
